A New Look in Amagansett

Another flooring contractor who worked for the GC sanded & finished these floors when the house was built, but shortly thereafter the floors turned intensely yellow.  The products used were coming off on everyone's shoes and feet as well.  The furniture had to be removed from the home, and we sanded & refinished all of the floors and stairs again as quickly as we could!  We love how the soft color palette of Woca perfectly suits this earthy minimalist interior design aesthetic.

Stunning Gut Renovation in Southold

This unique historic home in Southold with astounding LI Sound views was partially a renovation and partially new construction.  We installed solid 8" Heritage Wide Plank White Oak floors throughout.  Bona Nordic Seal is one of our favorite products to use on White Oak because it brings out the lighter elements of the wood and highlights its beautiful natural character.  Wide plank natural White Oak is a stellar choice for a renovation that aims to keep the historic feel of an older home!

Newsworthy Northport Beach House

Our client originally wanted to finish these floors with a dark brown stain, but after looking at several different color samples she changed her mind!  We all love the layered look of a white grain on top of a grey base, and what could be more perfect for a beach house?  We used a special machine to flatten and sand these Basket Weave White Oak floors to perfection before applying 4 rounds of Woca products.  The floors are truly the anchor of the superior interior design and architectural details!

Sensational Saint James Traditional

With a radiant floor heating system, there are 2 choices for wood flooring:  Engineered hardwood or Rift & Quartered hardwood.  Our customer selected Rift & Quartered White Oak because they loved the unique grain pattern, and they also preferred a solid wood floor.  Special care was taken prepping this subfloor with its radiant tubing throughout.  The tan blend was exactly what the customer wanted -- a lighter color to make the house look more open, as well as a floor that is easy to care for!

Modern Water Mill Farmhouse

Unique new construction home in the Hamptons.  We installed solid 4" wide plank White Oak hardwood flooring throughout the first and second floors of the home.  In the basement, we installed 4" Unfinished Engineered White Oak, and finished all 3 levels with Bona Natural Seal to preserve the lighter look of the raw, natural wood.  We also built out all of the stair treads in this home using the same 4" flooring material.

Castle Gould Great Room Restoration

We were so excited to be asked to do more work at the Historic Sands Point Preserve in Sands Point, NY!  This time we refurbished the floors in the Great Room of Castle Gould.  These Red Oak hardwood floors were not as old as those in the Hempstead House Breakfast Room, but the floors were badly in need of brightening up.  We love the regal look of Red Mahogany, and the interior medallion really pops!
